By using nrimoneymatters.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We try to keep the language plain; where we say "we," "us," or "the site," we mean NRI Money Matters, operated by Amish Kapadia, Mumbai, India.

1. Nature of the site — no financial advice

NRI Money Matters is an independent content and comparison site aimed at Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). We publish guides, comparisons and calculators related to remittances, banking, credit cards, investments, tax, travel and lifestyle.

Everything on this site is for informational purposes only. Nothing here is financial, tax, legal, investment, banking or professional advice. We are not a bank, broker, adviser, planner, attorney or tax preparer. Your individual circumstances vary; please consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

2. Affiliate relationships & how we make money

This site contains affiliate links. When you click certain links and then sign up for, purchase, or transact with a partner service (such as a money-transfer provider, bank, brokerage, credit card issuer, hotel, airline or retailer), we may receive a commission. This is at no additional cost to you.

We try to recommend products based on what we believe is genuinely useful for NRIs, not on commission size. But because of these relationships, you should treat our recommendations as opinions informed by commercial relationships. Do your own due diligence before transacting.

Specific partners we may have relationships with include (but are not limited to): Wise, Remitly, XE, WorldRemit, InstaReM, ICICI, HDFC, Kotak, SBI, Axis, IDFC First, Yes Bank, HSBC, American Express, Groww, ICICI Direct, AngelOne, and assorted travel and retail services.

3. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and current, but:

FX rates, fees, interest rates and bank products change constantly — always verify on the provider's own website before transacting.
Tax laws and FEMA regulations change and vary by individual circumstance — consult a qualified professional.
We may make mistakes. If you spot one, please write to amish@nrimoneymatters.com and we will correct it promptly.

4. Third-party links & services

The site links to third-party websites (banks, money-transfer providers, brokerages, government sites, retailers and others). We do not control, endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility for the content, policies, products or practices of any third-party site. Your dealings with any third party are entirely between you and that party.

5. Intellectual property

All content on NRI Money Matters — writing, comparison logic, calculators, layout, visual design and code — is the intellectual property of Amish Kapadia unless stated otherwise. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish full articles, scrape the comparison tool, or use our content to train machine-learning models without written permission.

Third-party trademarks (bank names, card brands, airline logos, etc.) belong to their respective owners and appear on this site only for descriptive reference.

6. User conduct

When using the site, you agree not to:

Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or replicate the site, its calculators or its comparison data beyond reasonable personal use.
Attempt to disrupt, probe, hack, or reverse-engineer the site or any of its systems.
Submit false or misleading information through any form, including newsletter sign-ups.
Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes on the rights of others.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the site or reliance on any content here. Our total liability for any direct damages, if any, is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amish Kapadia and NRI Money Matters from any claim, loss, damage, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be announced on the site itself or via the newsletter. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to the site or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
